For centuries, tallow has been used as a deeply nourishing skin balm, long before modern skincare products existed. Tallow is rendered fat traditionally sourced from grass-fed animals, and when carefully purified it becomes a rich, creamy balm that closely resembles the natural oils produced by our own skin.

Because of this similarity, the skin recognises and absorbs tallow beautifully, helping to restore the skin barrier, lock in moisture, and support natural skin repair.

Tallow is naturally rich in beneficial fatty acids that support healthy skin:

• Stearic acid – strengthens the skin barrier and protects against dryness

• Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) – known for its calming and anti-inflammatory properties
