I don’t know about you, but I always feel that once August arrives, time suddenly begins to speed up. Before we know it, Christmas will be here!

We’ve had the most beautiful winter here in Northland—crisp, cold mornings followed by stunning sunny days. I’ve absolutely loved it, but I have to admit, I’m more than ready for some warmer weather.

On 29th July we experienced the beautiful Buck Moon, a Full Moon in Aquarius. Around 26th July we also entered the beginning of the Lion’s Gate Portal, one of the most talked-about spiritual events of the year.

What is the Lion’s Gate Portal?

The Lion’s Gate Portal is believed to be a time of heightened spiritual energy that reaches its peak each year on 8th August (8/8). Astrologically, it occurs when the Sun is in Leo and the bright star Sirius rises, symbolising a time of spiritual awakening, personal growth and new beginnings.

Many people believe this is a powerful time to:

• Set intentions for the months ahead.
• Let go of limiting beliefs and old patterns.
• Focus on abundance and manifestation.
• Connect more deeply with your intuition.
• Reflect on where you are and where you’d like to be.

Whether you follow astrology and spirituality or simply enjoy taking a moment to pause and reflect, the Lion’s Gate Portal is a wonderful reminder to reconnect with yourself and embrace new possibilities.

Product of the Month – Ocean Gypsy Natural Deodorant

This month’s featured product is the Ocean Gypsy Natural Deodorant.

Yesterday a lovely customer of Indian descent shared something that absolutely made my day. She told me she’d been using the Gypsy Rosa Natural Deodorant for around six months and had noticed that the darker pigmentation under her arms had reduced significantly. She was so excited, and even female members of her family had commented on how much brighter and healthier her underarms looked.

Darkening under the arms is something many people experience for a variety of reasons, including friction and irritation. While I can’t promise these results for everyone, it was wonderful to hear how much more confident she now feels.
